WW2 Japanese army officer's dress hat. Type 45. Made of doeskin wool in yellow/greenish color. High peak with flat top crown. Three tiny moth nips on the central band in the front, one tiny hole on the right side. In the back of the central band close to the crown, there are 7 to 8 small moth holes. But they are very close to the crown and will be covered up by the crown, so they are not visible at all. One moth damage on the piping in the back, about 5 millimeters long part is missing. one tiny moth hole on the crown but at the underside below the side ventilation hole on the right. This is the only moth hole on the crown. There is one crack on the sweat band. Underside of the visa brim, the black paint is faded to reveal the hard board color. The top side of the brim is in really nice condition. No crack on the brim. This is very rare in the Japanese hat without any cracks. Chin strap is in great condition and still shinning. The front star insignia is bright and has no rust. In excellent condition.

Original WW2 Japanese Army Officer's tunic, pants, and boots All from same officer

A complete set of WW2 Japanese army officer's tunic and boots. All from the same officer, named to Mr. Minakami (水上), for the rank of second lieutenant. Type 98 for summer use. Made of thin khaki like fabric in dark green color. The jacket and the pants were a matched set from this officer, not only the color and fabric material are matching, but both the jacket and pants are labeled with his last name. The boots are also from him but no name seen on them.
The jacket has the original collar tab for the rank, with medal bar loops and squad leader badge or officer school graduation badge. It also has the slots and small loops on the shoulder to wear the formal dress shoulder boards. The buttons are in nice shape without being rusty. The tunic is in excellent condition. No significant damages but just a couple of tiny moth holes in the back. Size is medium.
Pants are typical officer riding breeches. With baggy upper legs. Name is written and embroidered on the inside. No significant damages, just a couple of tiny moth holes in the front. The moth damages are quite often seen in the summer tunic due to the thin fabric.
Boots are typical dark brown color for the lower rank officer use. Made of high quality genuine leather. But due use in the war, there are lot of wearing and soiling, and scratches. Due to the bending at the ankle area, there is one small hole on the surface layer but not perforated. The soles are made of leather with iron patches. The sole has cracks and lots of wear. But they are still in great condition and match with the tunic perfectly. Size is about 8 to 8.5 US size.

Very rare to see a matched set from same officer with clear evidence. Hat is not included.

Price is $450 for the coat, pants and boots, plus shipping.
